The Mountain View Hat Sai Ri Resort

The owner’s kind words and support earn three stars from me. The location is okay, the food is good, and it’s good value for money. The rooms are cabin-style with average facilities, and they need repairs and maintenance. Maybe that’s understandable with fewer tourists at the moment, but check before booking. It could work well for a group with kids, since there’s a pool with slides for them to enjoy. Outside, it’s natural and green. Many resorts are struggling to keep things up, so don’t expect exceptionally clean rooms at a small resort.

The pool with its 3 water sliders was the highlight. It’s a lovely resort in a green area with lots of flowers. The owner is super friendly and serves delicious Italien and Thai Food. Definitely worth staying for a couple of days.

The cottages face a large green courtyard, which made for a perfect setup for a big family reunion. It’s a newly build, very well crafted resort, and it felt like real Thailand off the beaten path. Mostly locals and Thai people stay here. I wish we’d had longer, and we’ll be back!

There was no English-speaking staff, and the place doesn’t accept credit cards. They demanded cash on arrival or asked us to leave. We had booked three rooms, and the sheets were stained in all of them. There was also no 24-hour reception as advertised.
