Please be careful if you stay here. We were charged an extra 350 baht, even though we hadn’t taken an additional breakfast, and we also had to pay extra to use the pool. We’re still shocked. The room was awful. Everything smelled, the bathroom floor stayed wet because the water wouldn’t drain, and the bed felt like it was made from old branches. The pillow seemed to be made of banana tree leaves. The place was dirty and noisy, everything seemed old, and the food was bad. Staff walked past without acknowledging us. For what we paid, it wasn’t worth even half. We came away feeling we’d wasted money and nerves, and had a bad impression. They even deceive local residents, so what can I say about tourists? I don’t recommend this hotel.

The bungalow was simple, but very clean, and the Wi-Fi worked well. The owners were really nice. I stayed one night on the way to samui, and it was an easy one-minute walk to a lovely beach with seafood restaurants. There weren’t many tourists around, just plenty of friendly locals. It reminded me of how samui might have been twenty years ago, before it got over-commercialized. Nothing fancy, just a very nice place to relax.
