The room and staff were so good that I wish I’d booked two nights instead of one. I stayed in a deluxe room and was 100% impressed. Gumbie House sits among farmland below beautiful mountains, just a few minutes from Fang Hot Springs, which is a must, and 5-10 minutes from Fang city centre. The room, staff, breakfast, and location were all A+.

There’s a lovely flower garden, a small pond, and a spot to relax, with thoughtful, unusual decorations throughout. The owners are warm and welcoming, and the service is great. It’s a soothingly beautiful place, and they provide both breakfast and dinner. I’d definitely recommend it.

A peaceful spot for an environmental detox, set among gardens, farms, and mountains. The owners are very nice, and the decorations are lovely. Fang hot spring and the national park are only 1 km away. Highly recommended.

I’m really glad I found Gumbie House and trusted the reviews here. They were right. The food is exceptional, the gardens and views over the countryside are beautiful, and the room feels cosy, like a home away from home. The hospitality is wonderful. If you’re reading reviews after finding the place, just book it. You won’t be disappointed. Stay longer than one night if you can. It’s a beautiful place and a lovely experience.

We stayed in room number 1, which was very clean and bright, with a fantastic view and an extra outdoor bathroom. The rooms are huge, and there are only three of them. Roy and Sai (I hope the spelling is correct) were very nice hosts. They gave us good tips for restaurants and for walking to the hot springs along a marvelous path. A very quiet, lovely place among rice fields. I definitely recommend it.
