This isn't a luxury stay, but for the price we were very happy with it. The hotel is clean, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable, with clean bedding and good beds. All the staff were friendly and generous, letting us check in four hours before the official time. The place has a fascinating history connected to the Lahu people, and the manager is a Japanese-trained tea expert. We thought their teas and coffees were amazing, and they gave us complimentary treats and food. Even the fairy lights outside and the cute water feature by the entrance add to the charm. I'd absolutely come back.

The staff and owner are so welcoming and friendly, and the food is great. For me, Yum Bai Cha is a Fang signature. I never skip this tea salad when I'm in Fang. It starts with “Yum” and really is yummy, a must-have each time I visit. Such a lovely spot for tea, food, and warm hospitality. 🌿🍵

The hotel was full, so I suppose the price was fair for the area, but I still expected better for what we paid. The bed was partly destroyed, and the pillows were thick and hard. The walls are thin, so it can get loud at night. I don't like leaving negative reviews, so, four stars, I guess.

The meal I ordered was really tasty, and the beer came ice cold. Food and drinks cost extra, but they were inexpensive. I paid 500 baht for the stay without breakfast, which felt like a bargain. I found the hotel on Google Maps and was welcomed by helpful, friendly staff. The room was spacious and the bed was good. The shower worked well too. The furniture looked a bit dated, so that kept it from being a full five stars for me.

PHUMANEE Lahu Home made it possible to get a real sense of Lahu tribe culture, which can be hard to find among the same kinds of travel experiences everywhere. The hotel itself is simple, clean, and very comfortable, and the staff give guests a lot of personal attention. You can learn about the Lahu tribe, cook and eat their traditional food, and visit the nice city of Fang.
