We had a wonderful few nights at River Hotel Hatyai in December. The location was great, the room spotless, and the bed really comfortable. Everyone on the team was so helpful and friendly. This review is late, but we’re very grateful for such a pleasant stay and would love to return. Thank you so much 🙏🏻🫶🏻❤️

The room was very clean and had a fridge, and the hotel feels new and is well furnished. There’s secure parking on site, and the staff were friendly. The room advertised a balcony, but its door was locked so it couldn’t be used. Sound carries badly, and corridor noise from other guests was easy to hear late at night. There was nowhere at the hotel to buy coffee or drinks, and no breakfast option.

The staff, from the security guard to the receptionist, were welcoming and attentive, and the location is good. Our room had plenty of space for three and was clean and comfortable. The bathroom sink stayed clogged and the hand bidet didn’t work properly, even after I pointed it out to the staff a few times. At night the nearby open stage pub was noisy, with the sound continuing until morning.

The pillows were far too soft for me, and I woke up uncomfortable with a neck cramp. Otherwise, the room was spacious and the basic amenities were in good shape since the hotel is relatively new. We came as a group and the boss welcomed us personally. Since we arrived late, they let us use the lounge with its modern coffee machine, and the boss even bought us breakfast snacks. The staff were friendly, and one could speak Malay.
