Sakol Hotel

The hotel is modern and clean, right in the center of Hatyai, which made getting to the main attractions easy. The reception service, though, left a bad impression. I was met with a cold welcome at check-in, and checkout was worse. Most of the front desk team, especially the older staff, seemed unfriendly, arrogant, and incompetent to me. The team needs a refresh, with people who are energetic and genuinely enjoy dealing with guests. Even a great location won’t keep customers if the service is this unfriendly.

Getting a Grab from the hotel was easy, and Lee Gardens is only a short walk away, with the other places we wanted to visit within reach. My two nieces and I had another hassle-free, comfortable three-night stay at Sakol Hotel Hatyai over the long Deepavali weekend in 2025. The room was clean, everything worked, and the air conditioning was nice and cold. The staff were attentive and friendly, and we felt well looked after. We’ve agreed we’ll stay here again on our next trip to Hatyai. Thanks, Sakol Hotel, for another pleasant visit!

I’d heard plenty of negative comments about this hotel, but my own stay was great. Everyone we met, from the bellman to the cleaners and concierge, was kind and greeted us with a smile. The room was spacious and clean, and the customer service was excellent. Lee Garden is less than a five-minute walk away, with several 7-Elevens and lots of halal food options nearby. I loved staying here and will recommend it and come back. Respect goes both ways, so paying for a room isn’t a reason to trash it. We left everything clean, just as we found it.

The room felt hygienic and new to me, with a sleek, modern interior. It’s compact, but laid out comfortably for four people. The free snacks and coffee pod machine were nice touches.
