The mattress was so hard it felt like a cement slab, and I had to put the comforter underneath me just to sleep. Hostel guests also can’t use the hotel’s beach or amenities, and there’s no view since the hostel is in a separate location. The listing photos show the hotel, but the hostel is in another building about a four-minute walk away. I don’t remember the listing explaining that they were separate properties. In the hostel there’s nowhere proper to sit, eat, or work on a laptop, and the chairs felt wobbly and unsafe. The coffee shop next door is for its own customers, not hostel guests. There aren’t staff in the hostel area all the time, so you have to call reception if there’s a problem with your dorm or the bathrooms. When there was no drinking water and the hot water thermos wasn’t working, I walked to the hotel to ask about it. They said I’d have to wait because housekeeping was busy getting breakfast ready for hotel guests. They did take me to the hostel by golf cart because I had luggage, and it’s close to Khao Takiab beach. I don’t recommend it.

We’ve stayed here a few times and it’s been good each time. The room is tidy and clean, and always feels homey. It’s a three-minute walk to the beach, and it’s pet friendly 🐶. The staff are really nice and the service is great.

I really didn’t want to leave. My husband and I loved staying here and would definitely come back. The place is right on the beach, and they bring breakfast to your room. Our room was very clean, and there were two pools that were well looked after. Best place I’ve stayed in Thailand.

I come here whenever I’m in Hua Hin for a short stay. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there’s a free buggy ride to the nearby parking lot. The room is spacious and clean, and very close to the beach. I also liked the saltwater pool overlooking the beach.

The location is close to the beach and it’s pet friendly, but the stay was nowhere near what was advertised. The rooms were run down, not clean, and poorly maintained. Breakfast was poor quality, facilities were lacking, and there were lots of mosquitoes because the balcony door wouldn’t shut properly. I was told there’d be a garden for pets, but there wasn’t one. My elderly mother fell on their slippery “disinfecting tray,” which felt like a safety issue. The bed frame was noisy too. It wasn’t worth the money. We booked six nights and wanted to leave after the first, but they refused to refund the remaining nights even after I explained how different the hotel was from the listing. I also saw another guest complain about the same things, and they eventually shortened their stay.
