It’s easy to get around from here, though it isn’t on the beach, and it’s not too noisy. There’s plenty of parking, and the staff were very polite. The place looked clean and tidy. It’s close to a big shopping centre and surrounded by lots of 7-11s and restaurants. Having pet-friendly accommodation is a real plus, since that’s hard to find.

Having your own wheels, whether a bicycle, car or motorbike, helps. Soi 102 has plenty of restaurants and other places, but it’s a bit of a walk from the main action. The pool gets dirty quickly even though they clean it, probably because it’s a breezy spot with trees and greenery nearby. I still swam every morning. I got a great deal, with a 300 baht daily restaurant credit included with the room. The northern Thai food there was delicious. The property’s getting a little old, but even the cheapest room was bright, clean and spacious. They cleaned it daily, and the staff were friendly. All in all, a great stay.

The location is quiet, tucked off the main road, so you’ll need a car. Bluport Mall and Arena Hua Hin are both within 10 minutes, and there’s plenty of parking. Check-in is at the restaurant out front, and there’s a 500B deposit. The room has loads of space, which makes it good for a longer stay. There’s a kitchenette with a big fridge, sink, microwave, plates and glasses, plus a sitting area with a sofa and coffee table facing the TV. The balcony overlooks the pool and is a good size. The pool has some shaded seating. My room was cleaned daily, amenities were provided, and the service was good.

Good value for the money, though the clean rooms are a bit outdated. The bed and shower were good. It’s at the far end of Hua Hin, well away from the nightlife. I’ll come back.
