This is a cosy, low-rise resort-style condominium in Soi 29, around 300 meters from the main road, and within walking distance of the beach and park. Hua Hin’s airport is nearby too. Villa Market, 7/11, Index, B-Quick, a few coffee shops and restaurants are all convenient to reach.
It’s a peaceful, relaxing place to live. I’ve been here for more than six months, and with ride apps like Grab and Bolt, getting anywhere is very easy.
I spent a year living in this apartment building and came away with fond memories. The management and the whole team of workers are wonderful people, and I’ll miss them a lot. It’s a very quiet, peaceful location, a little way from the city centre, which is part of what makes it so good. The facilities are excellent and always very well maintained, with two outstanding swimming pools and a gym. It’s an excellent apartment building.
The apartment had plates, bowls, cutlery, dish soap, shampoo, and body wash, but the stay was poor value. We paid about 1100 thb a night, supposedly 73% off the usual price. At the Plaza Hotel, a few minutes' walk from Hua Hin beach and amenities, I got a queen bed and a real double bed for 1200 thb. Blu Roc felt far from everything, with only a 7/11 about 15 minutes away on foot and no suitable swimming beach nearby. The Moroccan Style unit was listed with a queen bed and a futon for four, but the “futon” was just two thin bamboo mats to roll out on the floor. That's basically sleeping on the floor, and this place isn't set up for four people. The cleaning was poor too. We had to find a vacuum and pick up hair before laying out the mats. Most units seemed empty, while furnished ones appeared to be short or long-term rentals. It felt like staying in your sister's one-bedroom college apartment for the weekend while she was away, after she'd tidied up and put away the dirty clothes.
