We only planned to stay two days, but ended up booking a whole week. After a long drive from Bangkok, we asked about a room and were lucky to find this place. It's a two-star stay, but the people are great, and they gave us fresh fruit whenever we came back from shopping. They even discounted our stay by giving us one day free. Monkey Mountain is about 100m away, with macaques around, and the beach is just 50m away. We love it here!

The owner and staff are very good and helpful. There are lots of trees for shade, and guests can relax and have a barbecue. It's right on the beach. The pool is small, and the rooms feel a bit old. In some rooms the air conditioning doesn't cool well, and some bathrooms don't get warm.

The room needs a lot of improvement. The bed sags, there are no plugs or internet, the TV is broken, and the bathroom and broken toilet were unclean. I also found one staff member rude and ill-mannered. When I asked about using the swimming pool, she said, "Is it allowed to play?" I complained about all of these issues.
