It’s fine if you just need a simple room and don’t expect much beyond the basics. The price is right, and the area is decent: near the night market, not too far from the train station, and under a three-minute walk to 7/11. I’ve got nothing to complain about.

I’m based in Bangkok and come to Hua Hin four times a year, and I always stay here. It’s inexpensive and well worth the price. The place is old, but it’s quiet and the people are nice. The beach is a 15-minute walk, and the train station is seven minutes away.

A night bus dropped me off at 3 in the morning, and I needed somewhere to stay. The night watchman couldn’t have been more helpful. But the female receptionist in the morning was the rudest, least helpful person I’ve come across in over 30 years of travelling in Thailand. It’s a shame to meet someone like that so early in your stay.

Agoda listed it as a “Superior” room, but it was awful. Honestly, the worst room I’ve ever seen, let alone stayed in. It felt insulting.

Really good value, quiet and clean, and the staff are nice. It’s a five-minute walk to the night market and just over ten minutes to the beach. I’d definitely stay again.
