The people working here are really friendly, and there’s a night market right across the road with a 7-Eleven almost next door. The pool is fine, though a little small for me. The hotel itself is pretty ordinary, with a few nice touches. It works well enough for a night or two, just don’t expect anything worth bragging about unless making it through another night without room service is your kind of flex.

I ended up leaving for another hotel after problems with the rooms and the way staff handled them. The online photos seem to be from when the property was new, and the place now looks poorly maintained and unlike what was advertised. I found ants in my room overnight. When I reported it, nobody apologized, and at first they offered to move me to a lower grade room while claiming it was the last one available. I was moved again later, but that room had mold on the ceiling, a large stain beside the bed, and a bathroom door that locked by itself and wouldn’t open. That felt like a serious safety concern. Staff wouldn’t fix the problem, and another receptionist blamed me for the ants because I’d bought honey. That was completely unprofessional. A hotel room should be clean and free of pests either way. With the hygiene problems, safety issue, misleading photos, and the way I was treated, I had to leave. This place doesn’t meet basic hotel standards, so I wouldn’t stay here.

There’s a food market and a 7-Eleven right outside, plus a public laundrette, so the location was handy. The room was surprisingly spacious for the two nights my wife and I stayed, October 5 to 7. It had a table and chairs, a microwave, and a sink on the balcony for washing dishes and cutlery. The pool is small but cute, and nice for cooling off in the evening. We booked through Agoda, and for that period about 1000 baht for two nights was an absolute deal. Totally worth it. And if you feel like it, leave a little something for the cleaning ladies. They do an amazing job.

The pool was the highlight of our recent stay at Chaba Place. It’s roomy and clean, with a lovely design, clear water, and plenty of loungers and umbrellas to settle into. The hotel itself is well kept and has a range of amenities, but the pool area really stood out.

I’ve only stayed in one room, and it was extremely basic. I’d expected a small dining table I could work at, but my room didn’t have one. Still, the huge bed was comfortable and clean, and the air-con was great. After travelling each day to see family and go on lovely trips, coming back to that at night was a joy. It’s not somewhere I’d spend the whole day resting and relaxing, but it made a great clean haven for the night. The staff are lovely and really polite. It’s only a few minutes by Grab, an Uber-style taxi, to Hua Hin and the beach. If you’re watching your budget and want to spend your days exploring Hua Hin and further afield, it’s perfectly fine. The price and location are probably why you’re looking at it. The photos are lovely, though they don’t quite match reality.
