The restaurant is a little tucked away, down from my accommodations, but don’t let it being off the main road put you off. It gets busy in the mornings and evenings for good reason. There’s a good choice of Thai, Western, and vegetarian food at local prices, freshly cooked with quality ingredients. Everything arrived hot and quickly. The huge club sandwich was tasty, the fries were light and crispy, and the mango shake was more than I could drink. I’d highly recommend giving it a try.

I’m giving one star for the fast payment. The rest was absolutely not good. We ordered two dinners and two smoothies. Dinner arrived fairly quickly, but the smoothies took more than 30 minutes. I can’t say whether the dinner was good, because by the time we were supposed to eat it, it was cold.

We stumbled on this place walking back from the beach, and it’s a real find. A small Chang is just 59 Baht, or you can get three large Changs for 250 bht, 83 each. Nowhere else nearby seems to match that price, not even the beach bars. The Club Sandwich was another surprise, honestly unbelievable for 209 bht. It’s closed on Saturdays and cash only. A perfect spot for an afternoon drink. Highly recommend!

I dropped in on a chance and was really pleasantly surprised by the excellent, reasonably priced panang curry. I’ll definitely eat there again soon. I can’t comment on the hotel since I wasn’t staying there. I came back another time and had dessert, warmed banana cake with ice cream and cream. It was fabulous, fantastic!

The owner is generous, and her place is really nice for the price. The homemade banana muffins are the best healthy option, with fruit smoothies.
