The lady who owns Ree Raa resort was incredibly kind and let us postpone our stay from the booked date to much later because of medical reasons, even though we’d already paid Agoda for the reservation. That sort of kindness is hard to find these days, and it’s something every visitor hopes for. The location is superb, just 50m from the beach and right in the heart of Hua Hin beach. The room was great and very affordable. Come stay here, you won’t regret it!

This little cottage resort is lovely, and the staff and rooms were great. The location is handy, straight across from the mall, with the beach on the same soi street and a beautiful view about 100m away. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance. The downsides were the road noise from every loud exhaust, music from the mall, and countless mosquitoes around the house.

I like supporting a local place like this, and the owner was so helpful that we ended up chatting for ages. The room was clean and cozy, with everything needed for a stay. Blue Port is nearby, and you can walk to the beach. They welcome pets too, which is amazing. I stop here for a night on my way south and will keep coming back. If you sleep lightly, just ask for earplugs.

The constant road noise was the one real drawback, and at times it got pretty loud. Still, it's a decent choice when you're traveling with a pet, since they accept small dogs. The grounds are leafy and shaded, right in the middle of Hua Hin and across from Blu port mall, with food and shopping close by. Rooms are clean and reasonably comfortable, and the shower has reliable hot water. There's also a good range of English-language sports and movies on the TV.
