Visa Hotel Hua Hin

The beach nearest the hotel is quite small and crowded. Khao Takiab beach is nicer and about a 10-minute drive away by Grab. There are also lots of shops nearby, including 7eleven, massage places, and a little mall. To reach the beach from the hotel, you need to cross the road towards it like in Vietnam, or walk 7-8 minutes to the closest crossing. That isn't terribly inconvenient, and since the hotel isn't right beside the road, traffic noise doesn't carry into it. The rooms are spacious and clean, the bed is comfortable, and the small pool is clean, with towels available if you need them. I didn't try breakfast, so I can't comment on it.

My husband and I spent three weeks at the Visa Hotel in November 2025, and we'd definitely stay again. Everyone was so welcoming, from the front desk and kitchen teams to the cleaners and gardener. The front driveway night guard was especially cheerful, always smiling, wai-ing, and helping us park. Our room was clean and lovely, and the bed was comfy. The breakfast was nice, though the menu stayed the same, with four meal choices each day for all three weeks. We didn't mind too much because there were other nearby places to eat when we wanted a change. For a longer visit, I'd suggest paying for the hotel breakfast on some days rather than every day, just for more variety. The breakfast kitchen staff were lovely too. The only other downside was the old TV. It was hard to watch because the antenna reception and sound weren't great. We hadn't come all the way from Australia to Thailand to watch TV, so it didn't bother us too much 😊

For about 1,100 THB a night, this was the best value we've had on the trip, and the best and cheapest hotel we've stayed at so far. We would absolutely come back and recommend it wholeheartedly. Our room was spotless, practical, modern, and comfortable, and the beds were easily the best we've had on the whole trip. It was also the cleanest, best-kept room we've stayed in. Everything felt easy, efficient, and welcoming, with nothing to complain about. We didn't eat breakfast there, though the buffet looked very good. Instead, we ate next door at Pier Provence, which we'd also recommend.

The hotel is around a 15-minute walk from Hua Hin beach, and there's a Villa market nearby for supplies. Crossing the main road can be tricky, but it's doable. I picked this place because it's set back from the main road, near the beach and a vegan restaurant. On arrival the staff were friendly, and I paid a 100thb key deposit. I was on the fifth floor and appreciated how quiet it was, especially with the hotel's no-noise rule from 10pm to 8am. My twin room was spacious and well equipped, with a TV that had English channels, a fridge, kettle, and a lovely hot shower. The enclosed ground-floor pool also felt private. The only little annoyances were the small cups in the room and the rather thin pool towels. I'd stay here again.
