I’m so grateful to the lovely staff member who helped me while I was in Huai Yot on my way to Phuket and Krabie. The girl who had studied English in Melbourne Australia spoke it well, unlike the others, and gave me useful advice. She even called a cash motor bike to take me to the bus station. I paid AUD$5 for the ride to Huai Yot bus station, then took a $6 bus for 4 hours to Krabie. The bus station isn’t on google maps. After the Hat Tai natural disaster, with 3meter mud landslide floods, no water, and no food, her help turned a difficult holiday into a lovely journey where I had lots of food in Krabie. Following her advice cost me $11. Without it, I would have spent >$110 on extortion transport, with foreigners being ripped off and over charged for something a bus does for $6. Her help really turned my holiday around.

Everything in the room was complete, and it was very clean. It had everything I needed.

For 450 Baht, the room was very clean and had enough space for me to keep my bicycle inside overnight. It was quiet overnight, just outside of town.

The garden is nice, and the room was very clean. But in the 450 Baht rooms there are no windows, fridge, shampoo, or cattle. The owner came across as rather unwelcoming and unfriendly.
