Baan Apa Erawan

We loved relaxing in the garden, and there were hardly any bugs in mid-December. The room was the quietest and darkest we’d had in a month in Thailand. The bed was comfortable, the fridge made no noise, and the shower was hot when we wanted it. The pool was just the right temperature for cooling off. Staff were wonderful, the grounds beautiful, and the food on site was delicious. Being able to WhatsApp Nan questions or order food was really convenient. There was plenty of water access, although the hotel isn't on the main river. Some of the sports equipment was old and tired. That was fine with the bikes, since the main road is narrow and some cars and trucks speed by; we chose to walk instead, though it was hot and nothing was very far. There's a temple down the road, a couple of restaurants, and a coffee shop. You can take the bus without a car, but it doesn't run often. It's very handy for Erawan Falls and Kanchanaburi, and they'll stop to let you off at the hotel. A great option if you want to stay nearer the falls. The location is lovely for birding and butterflies, and you can kayak on the river with a beautiful view. We managed to eat most of our meals at the resort. Nan was a great host, serving delicious, healthy vegetarian food, and the rooms were very clean. You can also get laundry done.

The staff were amazing, and the view was lovely. Kayaks are free, and the waterfalls are nearby. For 1.4k, we got breakfast and a big Korean BBQ meal, so the price felt very reasonable. The room was clean and came with shampoo, soap, hot water, and the rest. Highly recommend 🌟🌟🌟

We spent two nights here and really enjoyed it. It's a quiet, peaceful place in nature, with kayaks available and a beautiful view from the river. Dinner and breakfast were both very good. The staff were super friendly, and the manager helped with all our questions. Getting to Erawan waterfalls by bus is very convenient. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Erawan National Parc :)
