Baan Rai River Kwai Resort

A restful spot beside the river, and the staff were really helpful. I'll come back.

The grounds have loads of space, including a big football field for group activities, and parking was plentiful. There were plenty of gnats during the day, though oddly no mosquitoes at night. The pool stayed really cool even in the afternoon, and the food was tasty. Our room was huge, with two beds and space for two more. It was showing some age, but the bathroom was roomy and reasonably clean. The staff were very friendly and gave excellent service, better than at some luxury hotels I've stayed in.

We came as a group and had our meal on the raft. The staff were polite and looked after us well. There was a pool, and both the room and the accommodation were beautiful and very spacious. It was a good stay.

My room was on the fourth floor of the main building, which has no elevator. It was very large, with two single beds, a TV, refrigerator, and clothes rack. The bathroom's glass section in the wall was see-through and had no curtain, and the hot water didn't work at all. The air conditioning was freezing and couldn't be adjusted, the room lighting was orange, and there were bees inside. The setting by the Kwai Noi River is quiet, with banquet and seminar rooms, plus a pool, playground, small cafe, and parking. The main building is four stories, and accommodation is split into zones. Food was okay, with breakfast served buffet-style.
