We left early after the owner kindly refunded the medication we had to buy and the unused nights. The rooms were clean to the expected standard, and there was free coffee and tea by reception, but breakfast wasn’t included. The hotel is also quite far from the main restaurant area, so you’ll need to be fine with the drive. Staff were friendly and helpful, though communicating was difficult without Google Translate if you don’t speak Thai, and some things got misunderstood. We had to switch rooms because the bed was very hard and dogs nearby were barking. It turned out the beds were extremely firm in both rooms, leaving us with sore backs after struggling to sleep each night. Neighbours on either side were noisy, with dogs barking or very loud music early in the morning. Staff couldn’t get them to quiet down. The cleaning staff sprayed bug poison in every room daily. After the first night, both my husband and I developed congestion and sore throats from it. We asked them to stop spraying our room and the rest of the hotel. They stopped in our room, but kept spraying elsewhere, and the strong smell still affected us. It got bad enough that we had to buy medicine at a pharmacy.

It’s a real little gem tucked away in an alley. The main road is close, but the hotel is surprisingly quiet, with no noise at all. The modern Thai building has tasteful decor with a touch of Western influence, and the cleanliness is top notch. Reception staff were the kindest I’ve met, and they speak English. The price was 800B. There were no Western tourists, and there’s free coffee and a great lobby all day. Easily the best choice in town. Highly recommended!

The owners, who are a family, and the hotel staff were very pleasant, thoughtful, and helpful. They arranged taxis and adjusted our trips; when the weather turned bad, we changed plans and still had a nice sightseeing trip. The hotel is a little farther out, and I’d say it was renovated or built not long ago. It looks modern inside and out, while the rooms have an industrial style that we liked. The mattress is quite hard but comfortable. The doors are secured, so people from outside can’t easily get in. I’d book again.

We stayed for two nights, and the rooms were amazing value. Everything was super clean, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the bathroom was good. The mattress was huge and comfortable, and we liked the room design, especially the many sockets for charging our devices. Consider staying here if you have your own transport. We’ll definitely come back.
