The room at the Inchantreedoopool was spacious and comfortable, with a huge window that brought in the morning sun and gave it a lovely natural feel. The air conditioning worked great, though there weren't many power sockets, so gadget lovers should plan ahead. The first night was strange. Someone upstairs kept running around from midnight until 3 a.m. I called reception, and they dealt with it professionally. It quieted down for a while, then the 'long march' started again. We called them our 'restless Bigfeet.' Our second night was peaceful, thankfully. It’s a shame some guests forget how much mutual respect and good manners matter in a shared building. I'd book here again, but if you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs in case those Bigfeet return.

The rooftop pool and its mountain views were beautiful, and the staff were really friendly. The hotel is modern and very clean while still feeling cosy. You can walk to the Bridge over the River Kwai from here. I'd stay again next time.
