Serene Residence

Parking was easy, the front glass door was always clean, and the air con worked well without much noise. The internet felt like it was from 1998, though, and there were no English TV channels. The room was rough around the edges, the sheet was too short to pull up to my head, and water splashed everywhere from the shower. It’s not in the farang area. There’s a simple breakfast. At under 1000 a day, it’s good.

There are a night market and a few shops around 500 meters away, but the location isn’t very convenient if you need to get to essential places. The room is on the small side and doesn’t come with a hairdryer, toothbrush, or toothpaste. Breakfast was a decent buffet, though some lunch dishes are extremely spicy.

The location worked well for visiting most tourist spots, with the hotel near TAT. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the spacious room had basic amenities and free toiletries. Breakfast is a buffet with plenty to choose from, including hot food, sandwich slices, salad, and more, but only if you book a room with breakfast included. I didn’t, so I paid 100baht. They also offer free maps showing places of interest and distances, which helped with planning where to go, whether ahead of time or on the spot. 😊👍🏼

The room was a little old, but fine for a night. The people at reception were very friendly, and breakfast was better than I expected, with Kaphrao included.
