For 20THB, you can get a taxi to the centre or the bridge, and the museum and a nice night market are within walking distance. There are good restaurants nearby too. The staff and other guests were so friendly, and there are cosy spots to sit and relax. The rooms are clean and have AC. Don’t expect luxury, but for a “2-star” hotel, this is a really nice place.

Neung was full of useful local knowledge and could help with bike rentals, timetables, and excursions. Harley was adorable and playful, too. This peaceful family run guesthouse is in a great central spot, tucked into a quiet alley within walking distance of the train station, restaurants, and bike rentals. The room was spacious, the bed comfy, and the bathroom spotless. Very good value, highly recommend.

The rooms are modern, the mattresses are comfy, and everything is super clean. The owners were around and were kind and helpful. There’s a cosy community space where people can meet, and they do a good breakfast. It’s a charming, well looked after place in a perfect location. For me, it’s THE place in Kanchanaburi.

The room was spotless and surprisingly spacious compared with other modern hotels, and the shower had the strongest water pressure I’ve ever had at a hotel. The owner was friendly and helped us rent a motorbike. It’s a cute little place, with toys and greenery by the entrance, and an easy walk from the train station. Great for the price. I only stayed one night before moving to Good Times Resort, but I wish I’d extended my stay at Siam Guesthouse instead.
