T T Hostel Kanchanaburi

The common areas are really nice places to hang out, and the location is great, with rooms right by the river. The staff are friendly. My room was a bit old and not especially clean.

T&T hostel feels more like a hotel, with private rooms and a large, clean common area overlooking the river kwai, though that space seemed underused. The rooms are a good size, with basic amenities. My mattress was extra firm, and the bathroom was okay, with a hot shower. The cheaper rooms are on the water. If you don’t want your room to rock every time a boat passes, make sure not to book one of those. That should be mentioned in the description.

For the price, the views make this hotel a very reasonable choice. There were a few small ants in the rooms, but it wasn’t much to complain about. The owners and staff are very friendly and always ready to help, communicating with Google Translate.

We had such a good time that we stayed longer than planned. The river view is amazing, and the common area is lovely, with wooden tables and a terrace. The staff are so nice and super helpful. Highly recommend!
