The garden is beautiful and peaceful, the staff are friendly, the rooms are well kept, and breakfast is great. There are separate adult and family pools, both modest in size but perfectly fine for cooling off after a day out. The location on Koh Libong’s western side is close to ideal, on a calm island with a Muslim and fishing community. The menu is also the widest on the island. That said, this was by far the most expensive place we stayed in Thailand, so I expected more. The outdoor AC units were mounted on the wall and seemed to rumble against each other. The low-frequency noise made sleep impossible for both nights. Staff tried twice to fix it, with no noticeable change. It felt like sleeping in a factory. We reserved a Christmas dinner table several days ahead, but were moved around repeatedly before and during dinner and ended up at the very back. On Christmas Eve, we also missed the sunset with friends before they left because a basic service that should have taken under five minutes took well over an hour. We asked and reminded staff several times, but got little beyond new promises. I understand if something can’t be fixed, but leaving us waiting after we’d relied on them wasted our time. Boat trips cost about 60% more here than the same trip booked through a neighboring hotel or local business. The menu is extensive, but similar food is available nearby in the village for a fraction of the price and, to us, tastes better. The family pool was also too noisy for young kids to enjoy, with more than 20 youngsters making a lot of noise. You’ll be comfortable here, but the value is much better at most other places around the islands.

The staff were great and very welcoming, the service was good, and breakfast was decent. The mattress and pillows were comfortable too. But the shower was broken, and I had to prop something under the drain plug to let the water out. The towels also felt a bit old and stale.

The adult-only pool made a big difference for us as a couple without kids. Breakfast was really good too, and the roti was a lovely extra. The hotel is beautiful, with little details that make daily life nicer, and the staff are friendly, dedicated, and always smiling. 11 out of 10. If you can, don’t miss it.

The rooms were wondrous, with gorgeous bathrooms and balconies, and we couldn’t have asked for more. Getting to the beach was easy, and the kayaks there were free. The pools were always clean, and breakfast was very, very good. We spotted cute hermit crabs too. They had great dinner and good service, plus Christmas performances, dancing, and competitions. When we arrived, everyone welcomed us with complimentary drinks and cold towels, which felt so refreshing. Best of all, bikes were free to use whenever we wanted. They were modern, top-of-the-range bikes, and we could cycle around. We’d come back. Thank you so much!
