Heaven Hill Resort

Last time we visited, it was a naturist resort. Now the rules have changed again and you have to wear clothes at the pool. That's such a shame. It doesn't feel like heaven on hill anymore.

The owners made us feel welcome, and their son was a delight. Our son was treated like part of the family, even getting special food after the owners noticed he liked their son's fried chicken. He also loved playing with the boy and in the garden. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, with beautiful ocean views. We loved the pool too, especially the outlook over the limestone hills. Breakfast was very nice to have included. We loved Heaven Hill Resort and would say, do yourself a favour and stay here.

The balcony looks out over the jungle, and there's a small pool with a hill view. Our room was nice and clean, and the bathroom was big and very clean too. The road up to the resort is really steep, so watch your car's undercarriage. Recommended.

It's quiet and tucked away up on a hill, with brilliant views from the balcony and across the property. Breakfast has panoramic views, and the simple buffet is adequate. It's served until 11:00 am, with checkout at 11:30 am. The rooms are a comfortable size, with good pillows and a good mattress. The air conditioning works well, and the thick curtains help if you want to sleep in. The staff were nice and helpful, and there's a swimming pool. The owners also run a Thai restaurant within walking distance at the ferry pier, if you're willing to tackle the road back up to the resort.
