The sea isn’t suitable for swimming, unfortunately, but there’s a pool and the setting is right by the water. The staff were lovely, and the restaurant has a nice sea view. We were first shown a wooden chalet that wasn’t great, then offered a modern upstairs room with a big balcony, which was great. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Room cleaning, though, was really hit and miss, mostly miss.

A quiet place right on the beach at Thong Bay, with great snorkelling. The food is good, the staff are lovely, and there’s a taxi service on site. A great choice if you want somewhere peaceful.

I’ve been back many times and wouldn’t stay anywhere else on Koh Mook. The staff are wonderful, especially Dada and her daughter Sea. Huge thanks to them both. Highly recommended.

The views are amazing, the food is incredible, and the people make you feel like family, so you feel right at home. Asfeah is such a sweet person and a perfect host.

For 30 euros, including breakfast, and with such lovely people, it feels too cheap! The bungalow could use a little attention, but it was great for the price. Nights were nice and quiet.
