Vieng Keaw Boutique Hotel

ok

The only good thing was being close to the market. The room didn’t look like the pictures, the refrigerator door wouldn’t shut, and the bathroom door wouldn’t lock. The rubber flooring was almost coming off, too.

I paid full price, but after only three hours in the room I had to move out because the condition was so bad. There was a musty smell and it was dirty, with a blanket like a temple blanket and torn sofa cushions. The bathroom door wouldn’t lock, the entrance light flickered, and the curtains looked as if they might fall down. The stairs were rotten, there was a lot of rot inside the room, and both the ceiling and lights were broken. Maybe the other rooms aren’t like this, but this was our experience. Think carefully.

There were lots of mosquitoes, and they hadn’t sprayed the room during the day. The bathroom also had a lot of mold. The room is old and needs a proper cleaning. I looked under the bed and it seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned at all. It doesn’t feel like a hotel anymore.
