Chanalai Romantica Resort Kata Beach - Adults Only

The pool was just the right temperature and kept in great shape, and the beautiful rooms made the whole place feel relaxing and well cared for. It’s close to the beach and plenty of restaurants, yet our room stayed quiet and peaceful. It was worth every cent. The staff made my birthday so special. They decorated our room twice, found us around the hotel to sing Happy Birthday, arranged a late checkout, and made me two lovely fruit cakes. Eye was incredible and helped us throughout the stay. We were welcomed with ice cream, a drink, and the friendliest smiles, too. Five stars hardly feels like enough. We can’t wait to come back!

Kate and Pity at reception made us feel at home with their warm welcome, kindness, and professionalism. The adults-only setting also made a big difference, giving us the quiet and calm we appreciated. The hotel is very close to the beach, and our room was comfortable and well maintained. Service was excellent, and breakfast was plentiful and well organized. We’d happily return and recommend the hotel.

We could walk all around Kata from the hotel, including to the beach, and didn’t need transport. Despite the location, it was very quiet. We stayed 11 days and had a great room, a very comfortable bed, and cheerful staff who were incredibly polite and helpful. The room was kept spotless. They must have noticed my birthday on my passport at check-in, since we never mentioned it. They left a nice birthday message, then surprised me with a little cake and a man playing guitar and singing Happy Birthday by the pool.

We always felt safe and at home here. Kate was our main source of information and help, and she went above and beyond to make the stay as good as possible. All the staff were welcoming, respectful, smiling, and knowledgeable about local culture. The hotel is close to the beach, shops, and restaurants, all within walking distance. The pool, pool bar, buffet breakfast, and gym were well kept. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We’d recommend this hotel and will be back.
