Chinn House

There are restaurants all around, and the beach is about a 7-minute walk away. The place is very clean and sits on a quiet lane behind the main road. A 7-Eleven and an ATM are next door, with several fruit stands nearby.

Jojo, the owner, was really helpful. The rooms have new beds and linen, and everything was spotless. I felt like a king staying at Chinn House. I was surprised by how good a place it is, and I'd stay there again.

The room was quiet, with windows facing the courtyard instead of the road, and the hosts were wonderful and ready to help. We stayed in Room 2 in December 2019, in a comfortable two-room suite with large beds, crisp white sheets, and air conditioning in both rooms. The refrigerator, microwave, kettle, and toaster all looked brand new and were spotless. There was also a set of dishes, handy for staying with a child. The daily cleaning was excellent, even the air conditioner was free of dust. The location was hard to beat: the sea was a 3-minute walk away, with a 7-Eleven around the corner, lots of evening food stalls, and bike rentals across the street. We were glad we stayed here.

It was only 4-5 minutes to Karon Beach, and there were 7&1even, round-the-clock food options, and fruit stalls open late nearby. The staff were helpful and the place was very clean. The German and Swedish neighbors were the only downside. I'll leave it at that.
