The bungalow was cozy, with lovely green views from the windows, a clean, fresh bed, and everything I needed. They cleaned every two days. It's a budget friendly three star place, so that's the context for my praise. I saw a couple of lizards and plenty of ants, so be ready for those. The electricity went out now and then, but the staff responded quickly and helped sort it out. I'd almost canceled after reading some strange reviews, and I'm glad I didn't. I suspect those negative reviews came from people who don't want others to find this gem. I truly loved staying here!

The staff were very friendly, and the balcony had a nice view, including one of the big Buddha statue. It's good value, with a roomy bathroom and two separate showers, one with warm water and one with cold. The street has no sign, so it's not easy to spot, though Google Maps takes you to the right place. It's on the road just behind an American diner. Keep left and go uphill for about 100 meters. You can rent a motorbike for 250 THB a day, and there's a 7 Eleven within 200 meters.

My weekend was miserable because the neighbors were noisy and messy the whole time. I couldn't find a quiet spot while I was there, and it really affected my mood. I would NOT recommend staying here.

The daily maid service was quiet and polite. There's a business on the street that recycles, which is a good thing. It was a wonderful way to immerse myself in Thai culture.
