Southern Fried Rice Guesthouse

I went for the pad Thai and ended up enjoying it for the whole three weeks I spent in Phuket. I like the food here better than the street food, both for price and quality. The people working there are really sweet, and you can sit with lots of fans to keep cool and play pool too. The accommodations are lovely, with hardwood floors and art on the walls. Even though it's downtown, there's no road noise.

We were staying somewhere else in family accommodation, but came here every morning for brunch. The kitchen was exceptionally clean and we ate really well. I had the best club sandwich I've ever had, and the French and Thai omelettes are both worth recommending. Great value for the quality.

The rooms aren't new, but they're clean and quiet, with AC, a fan, and super comfy beds. The value for the money is crazy good, and the Norwegian owner is a nice guy. If you work remotely, the internet is super fast. I had a stable connection the whole time I was working with European clients, which I haven't found anywhere else in Thailand. Cheers.

The room was really spacious and everything worked perfectly, including the AC, hot water, Wi-Fi, fan, and TV. I liked that the AC blows cold air away from the bed, so it wasn't cold while sleeping. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, and found me an airport taxi for less than the price in town. The restaurant is very good and reasonably priced, with combo offers. Breakfast is included, though it's not extensive. You can upgrade to a big one for just 50 Baht. At this price, it's hard to complain. A great budget stay at Kata beach, and I'd be happy to come back :)
