I only had a few days in Karon Beach and this gym worked really well for me. I bought a 2 day pass. The facilities were clean and in good shape, with a squat rack, Smith machine, plenty of dumbbells, different machines, and cardio equipment. Andrew, the manager, and the other staff were friendly and helpful. They also provide free water and a towel. I'd definitely recommend it if you're staying nearby.

Just finished my Sunday workout here. It's an impressive gym, with state of the art machines and free weights, plus a cardio area upstairs. The owner brought all the equipment over from Germany, and everything is clean and well maintained.

I found New Karon gym on google and it has everything you need, including towels and a fresh water dispenser. The owner is a bodybuilder and a great character, and he's really helpful. He rents out 3-4 self catering apartments above the gym that are nice and good value, with free gym membership for the whole stay. Everything is within walking distance, even a barber and someone who does laundry. He also rents out 3 motorbikes. There are more beaches and resorts to visit a bus ride away, for a flat fare of about £2.60. If you want to see Phuket and keep in shape, definitely look up New Karon gym and what it offers. I gave it 10 out of 10.

Interesting place, to say the least. I've been training for 20 years and still couldn't figure out how to use half the equipment. I'd never seen gear this old school before, and there wasn't anyone around to explain it. There were also a lot of Russians there.

I've been coming to this gym for years. It's always clean, with a nice atmosphere and plenty of machines for different muscle groups. There's also a cardio section with treadmills and elliptical trainers. The owner is friendly. Right now, it's the only good, spacious gym in Karon. I recommend it to everyone, and hope you have a good holiday and productive workouts 💪
