The Yama Resort & Spa Kata Beach Phuket Hotel

Spy, Aon, and Boy were especially kind and supportive, and the whole team made me feel welcome. I stayed at The Yama for two nights and slept really well. The beds are comfortable, and being up on a hill away from the busy areas makes for quiet, relaxing nights. It still felt easy to get around from there.

The little things the staff did made our two weeks at The Yama stand out. At breakfast, they would clear and set a table for us without being asked, and whenever we passed reception we got a warm greeting. We felt genuinely appreciated. The property is beautiful, but the service and people are what made this one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. My family and I only wished we could have stayed longer. If you’re in Phuket looking for luxury and great hospitality, I can’t recommend it enough. Our trip was unforgettable.

Breakfast was amazing every day, and the pool was another highlight. The dining area was spotless, and the servers were polite, respectful, and genuinely helpful. The New Years Eve celebration was so thoughtfully put together. From the decorations and quality of the food to the performances and activities, you could see how much care each staff member put into their role. Thank you for making us feel special and giving us such a lovely celebration. We had a fabulous stay at The Yama Hotel Phuket. Every member of staff was genuinely kind and warm, professional without feeling rehearsed, and made us feel like honored guests in their home. The rooms and hotel were clean, spacious, well appointed, and tastefully decorated. Staff were quick to help whenever we had a question or needed something. Breakfast was wonderful, with fresh, carefully prepared food and house-made items like bread and soymilk, which was delicious. The flavors and presentation were a lovely surprise. The coffee was quite decent too, and the machines seemed well maintained. Sitting by the pool in the morning, looking over Phuket while eating breakfast, was delightful.
