Tri's Miracle Kata Beach Side

The location was good, but that was about the only plus. The room itself was okay for what it was, just not worth the price. There were lots of ants, and some got into my suitcase. The shower barely produced any water, and there was no real way to control whether it ran hot or cold. We were told on arrival that we had to move because of an electricity issue, which seemed like complete nonsense. We had no say in it and went along with the move. The next day, they said we had to bring our things to reception and wait two hours before going to the new room. We refused and asked for a refund. After a lot of back and forth, they let us stay in our original room, so much for the electricity problem. There are rules posted all over the hotel and in the room, with fines if you break them. And even though I left the Do Not Disturb sign outside, staff still came into my room.

We were there for 12 days and had a really nice stay. The room was comfortable and clean, and ours was on the second floor. Breakfast was pretty good, the pool stayed clean, and the staff were really friendly. I’d happily stay again.

The staff were kind and helpful. We found that the bed was broken when we arrived, but they dealt with it straight away and the replacement mattress was very comfortable. We liked it enough to add two more nights to our stay. For those extra nights we had to switch to another room, which we didn’t like as much, though it was still worth the money.

Worst hotel stay I’ve ever had. The towels and sheets in our room were already used, and they only changed them once during the whole stay. Nothing in the room seemed to work properly. The fridge made so much noise it was hard to sleep, and the shower was either freezing or hot enough to burn you. No comfortable temperature in between. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, you’ll regret booking it.
