Mauro, the owner, was incredibly sweet and helpful. He helped us buy tickets and plan what to do, and the coffee was wonderful. The location is the best part: the beach is just steps away, with massage and restaurant options on the same street and more only a couple of minutes’ walk away. Our room was bright, airy, spacious and nice, with very clean linen. There can be traffic noise if that bothers you, though it didn’t feel like too much to us. There’s no lift, so expect to use the stairs. Great value for the price.

We’re staying here for a second time. Mauro is a perfect host, the accommodation is very clean, and the location is perfect. That’s all I need. The coffee every morning is fantastic.

The rooms are simple and clean, with everything I needed. I knew it was a GuestHouse and wasn’t expecting luxury, but it exceeded my expectations. My stay with Marao was fantastic, and the property was just what I wanted: clean, comfortable, good AC, great WiFi and a desk to work at, all at great value for money. It’s close to the beach, shops, 7/11 and a Pharmacy. For me, being almost next door to the Hot Yoga was a real plus. The spot works brilliantly for the beach, yoga and shops. I’d definitely recommend it.

I hesitated to book because the price was so affordable, but it turned into one of the best experiences of my life. Mauro is a loving, genuinely kind and helpful owner. Our room was cleaned every day and we got fresh water daily. He also lent us beach towels and mats for free, so we could keep our own towels clean. Kata Beach is right behind the hotel, and after staying in Patong before, I can confidently say Kata is much more peaceful, cleaner and has a fantastic sea. The service here was better than at many nearby luxury hotels. There’s a massage salon, hairdresser, boutique and restaurant next door, with everything you need close by. We never felt bored, and we felt completely safe during our stay. Most importantly, we accidentally left our bag at the hotel when we moved to Phi Phi Island. We got in touch with Mauro, who kindly kept it safe for a whole week. When we returned to Phuket, nothing was missing. That saved our holiday from becoming a disaster. I’ve had things stolen from my room in other countries, but this experience restored my faith in humanity. Mauro, you’re our superhero. Don’t forget, you have family waiting for you in Turkey!

What makes this place stand out is the people. Mauro was the best guest host I’ve ever met, always ready to help, answer questions, or just have a nice chat. I felt welcome the whole time. It’s great value, with a good atmosphere and the beach, shops, and restaurants only a two-minute walk away. I’d definitely recommend it 😁
