The pool was a standout, huge and set in a peaceful, inviting area where you could swim or just relax by the water. The property felt new and carefully designed, with spacious modern rooms and everything needed for a comfortable stay. I slept especially well in the very comfortable bed. The whole place was spotless, from the lobby to the rooms, and the staff clearly take pride in keeping it that way. A luxurious, comfortable hotel with excellent service, and one I’d recommend.

Set among trees about a kilometre from the beach, this modern hotel has two very different room options: converted railway carriages or furnished villa rooms. I spent my first two nights in a carriage, which was compact but had everything I wanted, including a comfortable bed, a luxurious bathroom, and a big TV. The villa room was much larger, with a king sized bed and an even bigger TV. The pool is enormous, over 100 metres long. It’s a gorgeous, high quality place, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We slept really well thanks to the very comfortable bed, and enjoyed the calm atmosphere throughout our stay. The renovation is modern and attractive, and everything is clean, carefully maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The sauna area was a special treat, with a cold ice water pool and a hot jacuzzi for relaxing. We’d happily stay again and recommend it.

I came for two nights and stayed eight, which says a lot. Both the Deluxe Room and Train Room worked well for me as a solo traveller, though the Train Room might feel small for two beyond a short stay. The hotel is modern and stylish, with a big pool, EV charging, Netflix on the smart TV, an onsen and sauna, a café, and help with motorbike rentals. It was comfortable to work from with my laptop, too. You really need a motorbike here: it’s about five minutes to the nearest 7-Eleven and ten to Johnny’s Beach Bar.
