It really is a great place. I'd give it five stars across the board.

We got a warm welcome, and Nong Hong took great care of us. The atmosphere was lovely, and the Benjat breakfast set was delicious and generously prepared. We paid 1,500 for a standard room, where the bathroom is separate from the accommodation. The onsen room costs 3,500 baht and has its own bathroom. Try to arrive before 5 pm. Driving in after that can be difficult, and inexperienced drivers could end up in the ditch. Low-clearance cars should avoid the route to the accommodation.

The workshop space is thoughtfully laid out with ramps, which made it easy for our elderly family members to get around. The main nuisance was the flies. They followed us into the car and even all the way home, probably because the resort is so close to nature. We came with the kids for a sushi-making workshop and didn't stay overnight. Finding the place was a little tricky: Google Maps took us to the other side of the road, where there was no direct access. You need to drive via Wat Khlong Khut, then turn into Soi Khuntha. The owner was very helpful with directions and suggestions for good photo spots. The matcha was delicious, especially if you order it unsweetened when you don't like sweet drinks. The other food was tasty too. The salmon salad had a little heat but was still fine to eat, and the Sang Yod rice in the sushi we made was incredibly soft. I also noticed candle-making and fan-painting workshops, which looked great. I'd try them if I get the chance to return, and we definitely plan to visit again.

Everything was lovely and peaceful, and the room was beautiful and luxurious for what we paid. We traveled all the way from Chiang Rai to Phatthalung specifically to visit this restaurant. Our outfit was free because we stayed one night. It was such a fun trip. ❤️🥰

The stay, including both meals, cost 1,790 baht. Dinner and breakfast were served, and the service was friendly. The atmosphere was lovely and took me back to childhood. With how hot it is lately, they should add air conditioning to the accommodation tents. Wifi would also be really useful for keeping in touch about work.
