This is a beautiful, peaceful spot if you want a break from everyday public life. The room was fairly clean, the bed very comfortable, and the pool water clean as well. WiFi worked well enough for me to do my office work without any trouble. The place seems to have seen better days: the lobby is no longer open as a public space, and the public toilets can’t be used. That didn’t matter much to me since my room was next to the pool.

The area and scenery are quite beautiful, and the room price was okay, but the rooms are pretty run down. Breakfast wasn’t good. If you’re driving, there are a few places to eat nearby, and the hotel is close to some tourist spots. Still, expect at least 7 km to get to the nearest attraction.

I liked the peaceful setting, the cool view of the wind turbines, and the nice lawn garden. There’s a small pool, and they offer mokata barbecue, though there isn’t much else at the restaurant. It’s quite far from the main road, but getting there is okay if you have transport.
