Lovely Farm

The one drawback was the steep access road, which needs some maintenance. We really enjoyed our visit, though. The simple rooms are clean and cozy, with great views over the valley. Breakfast was plentiful and prepared for us, ready to eat outside under cover on the balcony.

It gets very cold here, especially in December, when it was 8 degrees. We didn’t need the air conditioner, and the view in front was breathtaking. It’s also a great spot to catch the sunrise. Mr. Stoico was very accommodating and easy to talk to. He was hands-on, picked us up at the Bus Station when we were late and waited for us, then drove us back on departure day. Lovely Farm’s hospitality was wonderful 🥰. The rooms could have been cleaner and more spic and span. That was the only downside. The experience was lovely overall, but I’d have given five stars if not for the cleanliness.

I stayed in a twin bedroom for a short visit. The room and bath were clean, and the shower worked very well. There was no refrigerator or air conditioning, but even in June, we didn’t need air conditioning. The owner is thoughtful and always looks after guests. She even gave us pineapples to take home! The dog is called 'Sua', meaning 'tiger', because of its unique line-like marking.

We checked into this chalet in the evening on 13th November, 2019. The road there was dark, and the chalets were rather small with basic facilities. My bad experience was with the owner, Miky. There were seven of us, and we had booked four units with two beds each. One three-bed unit was empty, so I asked if we could switch from a two-bed chalet to that unit, since we were the only guests on the farm. Then one of the girls wouldn’t have to sleep alone. We were even willing to forfeit the money already paid for four chalets and occupy just three. I don’t know if he didn’t understand me or was simply being rude, but he kept asking, “What do you want now?!” several times. I gave up and went back to my chalet, but he continued saying things to my friends and pointed his finger at me. We did not get good service, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to friends. Zero stars from me for the rudeness.
