Papa Garden Khaokho

Our tent had a beautiful view right out front, and breakfast was decent with a great view too. The staff were friendly and helpful. The shower and toilet were a bit cramped, but they were private, and it’s camping, so I’m not going to complain too much.

Good location and service for a reasonable price. The view is beautiful, and the tents are spacious. :)

The staff were helpful enough, though we didn’t really need them for anything, so it’s hard to judge. The place looks nice, but everything feels too cramped. Reducing the number of tents and opening up the space, or cutting the price in half, would make it reasonable. It’s not bad, but I wouldn’t recommend it unless someone specifically wanted this site. The view is nice, though in Khao Kho you can find a good view everywhere. A view from your own tent isn’t guaranteed, so people crowd around other guests’ tents in the morning. The tents are incredibly close together, and I couldn’t sleep well because I heard people snoring loudly nearby. Earplugs would’ve been appreciated. Tent ropes are all over the place, so after a few drinks it’d be easy to trip. The evening eating area is cramped, and having hot coals so close to the tents seems like a fire hazard. The hedges have already been burned. Breakfast was disappointing, with too little room for all the guests. It was rice soup, fried rice with cheap sausage, toast, instant coffee, and drinking water. It wasn’t necessarily bad, but I expected a lot more for the price. Adding fruit and cereal to the current choices would probably be enough. Parking also isn’t adequate for the number of guests.

A peaceful, relaxing place with really nice staff. The tent was very clean, and it had its own shower room. I’ll come again next time. :)
