We stayed when it was 17°C outside, but the house was still very warm. The attic room can sleep up to 10 people, and there’s a very large TV screen. Uncle Oong's House is a small homestay in Khao Kho, and Uncle and Auntie are very lovely and kind.

We had a wonderful time in the open courtyard, where you can hold karaoke parties. Music plays during the day, giving the flowers and trees something to listen to. The resort is privately set on a hillside, so it feels peaceful and tucked away. Phi Moo, who owns the place, is incredibly kind. I was also struck by the big four-room house sitting in the middle of a pool. The owner says it used to be a bomb shelter.
