Marshal Resort

The room layout worked really well for our family. There’s a small entry area where parents can sit and talk after the kids are asleep. One room has two double beds for four adults, and there’s a balcony at the back for wet swimsuits. They also have houses for up to eight adults. We stayed one night with our three-year-old, and two other families with kids were there too. It’s a nice weekend getaway, not far from Pra Chuab Khiri Khan and the beaches. A private car is best. The pool is big, with water slides and stand-up paddleboards for fun. It’s a great place for Thai families with children. We’d like to come back, and I still highly recommend it, especially for the price and families with younger kids. There are a few things to improve. One slide was broken and should be repaired or removed because it could be dangerous for kids. There was a sizable bee nest inside the sign above the pool play area, which could be risky for children or anyone allergic to stings. It would be great if it were removed. There were dead bees in the pool, and when I pushed one aside, it stung me even though it was already dead. The shared bathrooms weren’t very clean. I’m not sure if that was just because it was a weekday, but the rooms were clean.
