@T Boutique Hotel

The room and beds were the best part of our two nights here. They're comfortable, and the hotel is in a nice spot by the shoreline. The staff arranged transport to Ao Manao beach, about a 7 minutes drive away. We just called when we wanted a ride back, which was easy. Swimming in the sea wasn't really an option, with muddy, murky water, so we used the small pool to cool off. There was no sun around the pool, and staff initially said we couldn't move the sunbeds into it. After a long discussion, they finally did. English was another challenge. One very kind, helpful receptionist spoke it, but the rest of the staff didn't, which made asking about food difficult and led to us getting the wrong dishes. Hiring more staff with some English would make things much less frustrating. It's not a bad hotel, but the online description should be more accurate so guests arrive with expectations that match the place.

The hotel feels worn with age. The room has new flooring, but the furniture edges are scuffed. The king bed is huge and the AC is quiet, though the chairs in the room and on the balconies are really odd. It also feels out of place beside the lovely village nearby, which is well worth a visit.

There’s plenty of parking if you drive. The hotel is large and has a good view, and the room was clean, comfortable, and nice.

The rooms were clean, the mattress was really comfortable, and I slept well. Staff were nice too, and the ocean views are beautiful. But the hotel is dated and needs a serious remodel. It looks good in photos, though it feels very old in person. The buffet breakfast wasn't good, and the coffee was horrible. To me this is a 3 star place and should cost around 1000 baht.
