Saowaluk Place

Everyone at saowaluk place was kind and treated me well.

Parking was great, with cover from sun and rain, and there were several coin operated washing machines. The room was clean and fairly priced, with a modern, stylish bedroom, and the staff were very helpful. Just be aware that getting to the second floor means taking stairs from the lobby, as there’s no elevator, so it may suit younger guests or families without older people better. In room 103, the air conditioner made a cricket like noise. I tried to switch rooms after about an hour, but they were full by then. Still, it was a good stay. 👍📣

The place itself was clean and the parking was good. With a better room, I think it would have been fine. I had to choose between a soft bed with broken air conditioning and a hard bed with working air conditioning, and went with the latter. The bed was hard but bearable. The bathroom door was broken, and there was a bad smell from the bathroom while I was trying to sleep. There was no bin in the room, just two bottles of water and no tissues.

If you’re thinking of renting by the month, be careful with this orange building with two sides. Last month they charged us too much for water and gave no explanation. When we decided to move out, the landlord told us to deal with the housekeeper. Any issue seems to get passed to her, even though she doesn’t manage the building and shouldn’t be left with all the responsibility. The landlord owns the place but doesn’t seem to know how to manage it. They act like a celebrity. Now that we’re here, we’re expected to pay for repairs ourselves, even though the previous tenants used the building without problems. This place is awful.
