The room was in good condition, and the service was tip top. Free breakfast, coffee, and tea were included. Thalenoi is very near, within walking distance, and there’s just one halal restaurant, about a five minute walk away. We came to sleep and take the Thalenoi boat trip at 5:30 a.m.

The owner can book the lake boat tour for the next morning. We left at 5:30 for an incredible two and a half hour ride on the lakes, worth the 900 baht for two people. The location is perfect, right in front of the lake. The owner was incredibly kind and attentive, and the room and bathroom were clean, with a large, comfortable bed and great air conditioning. A simple, inexpensive resort or homestay. You can request a halal breakfast. It’s near the souvenir shops and the jetty for boat tours. Thanks to Ms On for the great hospitality.

The hotel is right across from the lake and the starting point for lake tours. The owner helped us book the tour, arrange our next hotel and transfers, and with several other things. She even lent her bike to my husband. Thank you again. Thale Noi isn’t full of tourists and still feels like a hidden gem. The bird park entrance is just around the corner, and there’s a 7/11 at the town center junction for picking up what you need. Our spacious bungalow had air conditioning, a fridge, and a terrace with a table and chair. Breakfast was served on the terrace.
