Alina Grande Hotel and Resort

Great location right in front of White Sand beach, so if you plan to stay in this area, you don't need a motorbike or car. The pool is good too. The bedroom was big, with two queen-size beds, and clean, though both the rooms and hotel feel very old and need refreshing.

The location works well, with a little alley to White Sand Beach just across the street and a 7 eleven close by. There's a small shop inside with a few drinks at competitive prices. The building is quiet, and there's a big, clean pool out back. The little restaurant is very convenient, so we didn't need to search for somewhere to eat. We had English breakfast for R120 and dinner there as well. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious, with a nice fridge, wardrobe and balcony. It wasn't modern, but the bathroom was clean and pleasant. The balcony had a table, two chairs and a laundry rack. We had a flat screen TV, though the sound wasn't good and the channels weren't interesting. There was a large gap in the wooden glass doors, so mosquitoes could get in. Bring repellent for those intruders. Staff were friendly and helpful, and I think this hotel is good value for the money. I'd stay again.

A spacious budget hotel in a clean, neat spot right across from the beach. It's centrally located, with bars and restaurants just a short walk away.

Nice place, with good staff and a decent-sized pool. The pool bar serves drinks and good food.
