You can get from here to the sea in about 22 seconds, and the room has a sea view, so book one if you want that. The restaurant's food is the best, especially the fried chicken wings. The staff may not speak English very well, but in my experience everyone was friendly, polite, and smiling. I loved everything here ❤️❤️❤️

Parking is very limited. The resort was quiet when we visited, and the restaurant and bar closed early, by 9:30 pm for sure. Most of the other places seemed to close early too.

After years of visiting Thailand and getting great service at hotels across the country, my stay at Bamboo was an experience I don't want to repeat. The staff came across as arrogant and deceitful, and seemed uninterested in guests' well-being. They also wouldn't help with any of our reasonable requests. The rooms are old and poorly maintained. If you're planning to stay in Koh Chang, look around and don't book this hotel.

We were happy enough to come back after visiting other islands. We first stayed eight days, then phoned and booked directly when we returned to Koh Chang, which says a lot about how pleased we were. It's a great spot with everything you need close by, and the woman at reception is very helpful if something comes up.
