I made my Agoda booking under the name Treehouse Cottage. They told me the owner had taken over management, so I wouldn't recommend booking through OYO Treehouse Cottage.

Come here to unwind in a quiet little hideaway surrounded by nature, away from the beach's tourist spots. It's rustic and fits its surroundings. If you're after luxury, this isn't that kind of place, and I liked it even more for that.

When we visited in February 2022, the place was closed and abandoned, though you could still see its potential. The plants were flourishing around the trees rooted in the water, and it was beautiful, but the whole area also felt a bit eerie. We didn't wander far because the platform didn't seem safe. The wooden floor felt hollow, springy and spongy, and some boards were loose with plenty of holes. Please don't walk around there. Covid may have contributed to the state it was in, judging by the two reviews from early the year before. I'm not sure what rating to give it. I liked what remained of the establishment, and we would have liked to stay there.
