Yak Bungalow

Mr Yak isn't there anymore, by the way. The location is right beside a very busy road, and you hear motorbikes, cars, and barking dogs all day and night, practically outside the door. Bikes speed around the corner by the store and rev up right in front of the bungalow. There's also music from a bar and a racket from the store across the road.

The village atmosphere is lovely, and Mr Yak is a very kind host. I especially liked having a hammock outside, which made things feel extra cosy. It’s a small oasis, well located and looked after. I’d happily come back someday.

We had such a good time here. The bungalow is basic, but it has what you need, and Yak is about as nice a host as you could hope for. Thanks!

Yak was incredibly kind. After I arrived, I had delicious BBQ fish, and he even offered me his bike so I could go change money at the nearby ATM. You can take drinks from the fridge yourself, just remember to write them down or tell Yak. The beach is a minute away, and the mini market across the road has good Thai food. You arrive as a stranger and leave as a friend. Thanks for everything, Yak.
