We spent five nights with Dick and Wan, who are among the nicest hosts you'll meet. The rooms were clean and well equipped.

We stopped for coffee and chatted with the manager. Great vibes, and they spoke good English. The menu was simple since the place had only opened in the first week of October.

We spent nearly two weeks at Pink Kangaroo and had a wonderful time. Wan and Dick were so friendly and welcoming, even greeting us with maracuyá juice. The room was cozy, and having cleaning included was a real bonus, especially when you're at the beach every day. The location is perfect, right in the jungle, and feels especially magical at night when it rains. It's central for getting to lots of places, and renting a bike from them made exploring the island easy. Their very friendly dog and cat always came over to say hello, which made it feel like home. A giant gecko even dropped by now and then. My favorite part was the palm tree path you walk through to get there. It feels a little magical any time of day.

We still think about the Pink Kangaroo every day, even though we got home three months ago. The bungalows were cozy, the café was lovely, and Dick and Wan were so friendly. Num Num was a great security dog, too. We miss you all and hope to come back. Such a lovely place to unwind ❤️

The Pink Kangaroo is perfectly placed for exploring the island by scooter, and we felt at home there from the start. Our nine nights with Wan and Dick were a great choice. Everything was clean and nicely furnished, and they were welcoming, easy to reach with questions, and happy to chat. We also loved Stinky and the cat.
